I really liked Black Bear park! Had some tricky holes and a really nice walk. Pay attention to where the next tee off is on the information board for each hole. Some of them are a little hard to find if you aren’t familiar with the course. A cute little dock and fishing area right in the center if you wanna just make a day out of it.

Good shortie course tucked in the woods. Some of the “next holes” are kinda hard to find. I also lost 2 discs here on the same day, wish I knew who I could reach out to about them. No name or number on either

IIs this a dog park, or a disc golf course? Some residents who were camped out on a front 9 today playing with their dog on the fairway, blocked the hole and refused to move so we could play through. This is a taxpayer funded course right (??), so I'm not entirely sure how that grants the rights to adjacent neighbors to camp out and use it as a dog park and then report people who get angry about their game being blocked in return, because they can't finish their game. And I just want to clarify, that if we want to go throw on a course, and there are people blocking us from playing the course because it's a dog park at that particular time of day that they have deemed works best for them, then we need to just ignore their entitlement and go to the next hole?? Would you do that to someone on a regular golf course?? I think NOT. Guessing the police deal with this entitlement on the regular based on what they said after they were called. 3 stars are because the course is amazing, but the entitled neighbors and their stupid dog can get bent.

This disc golf course is ok. Ive never met a disc golf course that i didnt like though. This location has several similar style layout holes, and the signs and starting markers need updates. I actually prefer this course during the winter discgolf (dont knock it until you've tried winter discgolf). During spring the bugs are insane at this site and i wont bring any inexperienced discgolfers to this site because they will be hitting weeds all the time due to the narrow paths and right side tree placements of many of the holes. Good beginners courses in the northwest burbs you may want to try are Randall oaks in carpentersville and a park in elk Grove on biesterfield. If you are up for a great one with a real challenge, there is a park on Bartlett road in Streamwood with bridges, a stream, and unique holes.

This course was difficult. Nearly every hole is set in the woods with narrow pathways and over grown wild brush everywhere. I would not recommend this course if you're a beginner or novice. There was standing Marsh water which made the mosquitoes unbearable, we got eaten alive.
